1. General Situation:
Brunei Darussalam is currently in the Northeast Monsoon season which will normally last until March. The first two months of Northeast Monsoon (December and January), also known as the rainy season, normally have the highest amount of rainfall as compared to the other months. During
this period, unsettled weather conditions with occasional heavy showers or thundershowers are expected especially during the night and early morning. Whereas during the second half of Northeast Monsoon (February and March), the atmospheric conditions tend to be more stable with lesser rainfall.

Negara Brunei Darussalam dijangka akan memasuki Monsun Timur Laut menjelang akhir bulan November 2019 dan dijangka berterusan sehingga bulan Mac 2020. Tuesday, 15th October 2019 – The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department (BDMD), Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, conducted the Seventh National Weather Briefing after the previous one on Southwest Monsoon Season in June 2019.
