The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) as well as the Departments and Authorities under it held Maulud Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Celebration Ceremony for the year 1443H / 2021M. This year’s event was organised virtually by Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department on 20 Rabiulawal 1443H in corresponding to 27 October 2021.

Present virtually at the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Yusof, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.

The celebration was enlivened with a special talk entitled 'The Practice of Rasulullah's Sunnah in Work Integrity' delivered by Yang Mulia Ustaz Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak, Co-founder of Al-Minhaaj Center and MUIB certified da’ie. The ceremony then continued with the recitation of salawat and ended with doa selamat and Covid-19 prayers.
Among the objectives of the celebration is to commemorate and enliven the Maulud Celebration of Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam, as well as to foster closer ties between officers and staff of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications as well as the Departments and Authorities under it.

Also present during the event were Yang Mulia, Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary of Ministry ofTransport and Infocommunications, Yang Mulia, Awang Haji Hairul Mohammad Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Infocommunications), Yang Mulia, Awang Haji Salihin bin Haji Aspar, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Transportation), Yang Mulia, Awang Muhamad Husaini bin Aji, Director of Meteorology as chairperson of the event, division directors, heads of departments, chief executives, senior officers, officers and staff of Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, Departments and Authorities under it.
